Birdie the Dog needs a home

In honor of National Bird Day, we named this 11 year old sweetie Birdie!  Birdie was in a northern Virginia shelter before flying up this way to find her forever family.  She is doing well with the other dog and cats in her foster home.



Birdie weighs just 18 pounds and is deaf from previous total ear canal ablation surgery so she will not need any ear cleanings.  Birdie loves to follow her foster around the house and enjoys their yard too.  She sleeps all night long and is housebroken.  She is very healthy and oh so adorable!
