DOG'S DESCRIPTION

This handsome gentleman is looking for a new family to love him and keep him safe. Dallas is a very mellow kind hearted boy. He can be a little picky when it comes to who is canine friends will be. But as far as people go he loves everyone! Dallas does tend to nip when he gets excited just to get your attention so he should be in a home with no small children. 

Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.           

Adoption fees cover basic vetting, spay/neuter surgery (for dogs over 6 months old), rabies, distemper/parvo vaccinations, treatment for worms, heartworm testing, monthly heartworm prevention and monthly flea/tick prevention (while the animal is in our care), and transport costs from high-kill shelter. Please note that on average, K-9 Lifesavers spend significantly more on each dog than their adoption fee. Adoption fee for HW positive dog also covers heartworm treatment at our partner vets.
