Scruffy-He's winking attcha! the Dog needs a home

Scruffy is a gorgeous 5-6 year old snow-white ruff-coated terrier who came to us from another rescue in Nevada. They had gotten him from a hoarder. Originally he was very unsocialized but has made huge progress. He now likes being petted and cuddled by people he knows, though he still may snap at (but not bite) people that he's not comfortable with when they pet him. He has formed close friendships with some of our little terrier girls, though can be a grump with the precocious puppies. He'll do well with another dog - or solo - given adequate patience.



He's approx 15#.

He was so well mannered at Groom Expo West 2017 in Pasadena 2/19/17! B&B donated the dogs for their Rescue Roundup grooming competition. About 25 dogs went and were all well behaved. Scruffy was such a gentleman- amazing considering the hard start he got in life. You can see his haircut in his first two pics. 



**He will be back, at Groom Expo West 2018 at Pasadena's Convention Center on Feb 18. This will be his third time! 25 other dogs will be there. There will be an adoption event as well. For further info on the adoption process, please visit our home page and check out the "Adopt a Dog" section where very thorough instructions await.  All our dogs are spayed/neutered, micorchipped, and

 fully vaccinated before adoption; they have been wormed, bathed, socialized, walked daily and much loved; each adoptee leaves with a leash, collar, and all medical records.  




The beauty of coming to our Apple Valley sanctuary is that you can see all 90+ dogs!  

No more weekend mobiles—only special events. Maybe if there are enuff appointments, we could see you in 

El Monte or Orange County or nearby. Email your application and ask for more details!
