Kris (TX) the Dog needs a home

This beautiful girl is Kris. Kris is a two year old a Heeler mix. We pulled Kris and her litter of puppies to safety from a Texas kill shelter on Christmas day. Kris and her pups were left on a cold concrete shelter floor with no blankets in a filthy, germ infested kennel. Sadly only 3 of her puppies remain alive as a few of them were just not able to withstand the horrific conditions they were subjected to. We are grateful that we were able to step in and save this precious family before any more harm could come to them. Momma Kris and pups spent some time with our Texas vet partner receiving the life saving medical treatment they needed. Kris is a terrific mom to her pups and despite being left alone and scared in deplorable conditions she is just the sweetest girl. She is mellow, well behaved, and very loving! She is wonderful with people of all ages, other dogs, and cats as well! We need to find this amazing girl a home to call her own where she will get all the unconditional love and affection she deserves! Kris will be spayed and up to date on vaccines prior to placement in her forever home.
