Max the Dog needs a home
A nice lady in Shiner, Tx. rescued Max because his owner was not able to care for him properly and he was always out of his yard, wandering the streets. Max came to Emmy’s Hope Rescue in December 2017.
Max is very friendly. He likes big people and kids too. He is very curious about all the kitties at the rescue and is learning to respect them. It was reported that he liked to chase cats outdoors. However, he is fine with the indoor cats here at the Rescue. Max is making new dog friends at the rescue and plays well with both the small and medium sized dogs. Max had been an outside dog since he was a puppy, so now he is learning indoor manners and house training. Max has a loving, affectionate and gentle soul.

YOU MUST:
1. Live in the Houston area (no more than an hour's drive away).
2. Be 21 years or older.
3. Have a fenced yard.
4. Have at least 2 years of good vet history, with current and / or past pets, including:
annual Rabies and DHPP (Distemper, Hepatitis, Parvo, Parainfluenza) vaccinations, annual heart worm test and using a monthly heartworm preventative.
