Ray - Sweet Boy Rescued from City Streets

Ray was beat up and wounded when he walked right into a trap in Camden.  We were trying to trap a mommy cat and her kittens when Ray just showed up and said "Take Me, Please". His throat had a gaping infected wound which made it difficult for him to eat. and his face looked like a pumpkin from the swelling.


Ray was rushed to the emergency vet who found many scars from previous wounds.  Through the entire exam Ray purred non-stop!  So happy to be safe.  It took a few vet visits and a couple weeks but his throat wound has healed completely and the swelling in his face is going down!


We're not sure what happened to Ray, we're just glad he found us. 


Ray loves sitting on your lap, watching the other foster kittens play or just chilling in the sunshine.  His upbeat disposition and friendly manner have made all who meet him fall in love with this quiet, gentleman.


A warm lap, a gentle hand and someone to love and call his own will make this a truly happy boy.

Our kittens can be adopted out at a young age as a foster to adopt agreement as long as the pet parent is home a good deal to meet the needs of the baby. In this particular case we will need to meet up for age appropriate vet care as the kitten matures.  This process ensures a social relationship between human and kitten along with a great deal of one-on-one care and additional bonding time with kittens new forever home.
