Sweet Valkyrie charmed me with her big baby blues and lots of affectionate kisses the first time I met her. Demure and a shy at first, within a couple weeks this gentle and easy 6 year old opened up and was playing like a puppy with a couple of my younger pups, loving that she could sleep on my bed, and wanting to play fetch! I especially love how she gives wonderful sweet howls expressing her adoration for being rescued and tons of sweet kisses.
When I got her she was red and itchy in spots due to poor nutrition, but just three weeks with a proper diet and correct vitamins and she has totally recovered. I've found that she is super easy to bathe- actually likes it and will let you brush and trim claws like a princess. Valkyrie sits and gives paw for treats too. Has a normal husky prey drive and chases birds all over my yard, but she's exceptionally sweet and gentle with kids and all people, she's not mouthy at all. Valkyrie is a great cuddle dog but also a good dog park dog, loves other dogs of all ages and sizes, would very much recommend at least one other doggie friend in the home with her.
Valkyrie would make you a very happy and devoted companion- she's charming, sweet, beautiful, easy, gentle, loving and fun.
