Walter the Dog needs a home

Hi! My name is Walter and just like my name implies I am a pretty dorky puppy. Not only am I dorky but I am BIG and I am not done growing.   I am about 7 months old.  I am a Great Pyrenees mix of some sort who loves to be outside! However, I am very shy when I meet new people and don't like coming up to people all the time so I am looking for a home with a fenced in yard so that I have room to run safely.  Because I am so shy I am looking for a home without young children, they just move too fast for me right now.  I may be nervous of people but I love dogs that are calm and friendly and really shouldn't be an only dog in my new home. I would love a confident dog brother or sister to help show me the ropes.  I am even a gentleman around cats!  My kennel is one of my favorite places, I hang out in it even when I don't have too but that doesn't stop me from singing in it when no one is home. I just like the sound of my voice, bark bark!  I am looking for a patient home that will give me time to get comfortable and train me with a gentle hand.  If you think you might be a good fit for me please email!


To help pay for vet bills and care (transportation, food, toys, etc..) a $250 donation is requested at the time of adoption. All of our adoptions are contingent upon an approved application, home visit, reference check, obedience training agreement, and signing of adoption contract. All our dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped before adoption. Our dogs are companion animals that live indoors as part of your family. Please do not apply if your plan is to have them as outside dogs, garage dogs, porch dogs or outside kennel dogs.  We do not ship dogs. 


 


All of our dogs are in private foster homes. We are not a shelter with hours. A visit can be arranaged after an adoption questionnaire has been filled out and sent in. Please try email first. We are all volunteers that work so we can not easily take or make phone calls.
