Adopt a Poodle (Miniature) / Terrier / Mixed (medium coat)

Meet JoJo! JoJo is a 5 year old Poodle/Terrier mix who weighs 27 pounds. He comes into rescue from Texas. JoJo was found chained in the freezing cold, severely matted, with no food, water, or shelter. A good samaritan saw him and could not in good conscience walk away. We were alerted to JoJo and immediately agreed to help him. He was transported to our vet partner to get the urgent medical care he so desperately needed. He was sedated, shaved, examined and treated. It was amazing to see what a handsome cutie pie was hiding under all those mats! This poor boy has suffered years and years of abuse and neglect and now we vow to JoJo that he will have only the best life ever from here on out. Sadly, the years of abuse have taken their toll and he is now blind. JoJo’s eye condition was at one point a very treatable issue but because of the severe neglect he has endured this once manageable affliction has permanently damaged his eyes. He will need an extra loving forever family that can be patient with him while he’s learning to navigate in his new life with no sight.  JoJo is such a sweet and gentle soul. He is wonderful with people of all ages and other dogs. He actually likes other dogs so much that he really needs to be in a forever home with a fur sibling. He takes cues from other dogs and they seem to help him get around better. We want to find this special boy the most amazing new family that can shower him with the love and happiness he is so deserving of. JoJo will be neutered and up to date on vaccines prior to placement in his forever home.
