And now, a few words from me:

Hi everyone, my name is Sandy and I am one special little girl. I'm laid back and happy. My favourite activities are eating, snuggling and going for a walk. I like my foster sisters, but I much prefer to spend time with my foster mom and dad.  I love spending time with them on the couch watching TV.  I’ve been told I’m no trouble at all, and I’d make a fantastic addition to a home.  

And now, a few words from my foster mom:

Sandy is amazing, plain and simple.  She’s loving, affectionate, well behaved, fully house trained, and requires little in life.  She likes to eat, she likes to go for walks, and she loves to snuggle with her family.  She’s fine with other dogs, but really just needs the love of a human.  She’d prefer someone home most of the time, but can spend a few hours a day home alone if necessary. 

 Sandy came in to foster care through no fault of her own.  She was loved and well cared for her whole life, but her mommy became ill, had to go into a home and Sandy couldn’t join her. 

 Sandy is fully house-trained and just had a good dental cleaning, so she’s good to go!  Her right front paw turns out, however doesn’t cause her any issue and the vet said it’s likely something she’s always had and no treatment is required. 

All in all, Sandy is a dream.  She’d make a wonderful addition to any family and I encourage you to give this older gal a chance.  You won’t regret it!
