For the record, my name is
Smelt
, not Smelly. (Believe me, these other cats at the Adoption Center aren’t nearly the comedians they think they are...) I’m a female short hair cat with black and white fur and a cute little pink nose. I’m only about one or two years old now but I’m already looking for a second chance at a good life. My first life started out pretty good. I even had a family to love and a safe home. So as you can imagine, it was a pretty big shock then to wake up one day completely alone and nowhere to go. It seems those humans wanted to move away but didn’t want to take me with them. So they just left me.
I’m not about to have a pity party though, no matter how hurt or scared I was that day. I was clearly too good for those humans - I fully intend to find better, more loving humans who will appreciate the awesomeness that is

! Around here I’m known for being playful and a little chatty. Even if I’m snoozing and lying down, I can usually be convinced to bat some string around or capture the closest rolling ball. I’m also a good snuggler. For now I’ve been cuddling with a reliably fuzzy blanket, but when I find my family I hope to have a spot right next to them on the couch so we can cozy up together. I do know for sure that I want to have my family all to myself and be their only cat. Let’s face it, once you have
Smelt
in your life, any other cat is going to seem superfluous! If you’d like to be considered for the position of
