Naomi the Dog needs a home
Meet Naomi! Naomi was recently returned to the rescue with her daughter Ella, for no fault of their own. Their human dad became very ill and his health was compromised having the dogs in the home. Their mom, who loved them both very much had to make the very tough decision to bring them back to the rescue. It was a hard decision but in the end it will be the best thing for all involved.
Many may remember when Naomi and her two daughters joined the rescue. One day when we were hosting a free spay and neuter clinic in Sunnyslope, a man on a bike road up and dropped a box right in front of the spay and neuter van and drove away. Inside the box was Naomi and her hour old babies. Naomi was the best mom and we absolutely adored her two little babies, Ashley and Wynonna. Ashley and her mom were adopted to their forever home together and sadly we never thought we would be looking for a forever home for them again but here we are.
The girls are both good with dogs and could possibly live with cats. Both girls love people. Naomi can be a little standoffish at first but warms up quickly. When out playing with other dogs in the yard they are both very independent from each other. They could be adopted together or separately. We would be happy with either, we just want them to be loved and cherished in a forever home.
Naomi is a bit chunky and we are now helping her lose the weight. She is going on daily walks and eating smaller portions. She loves to lay by your side on the sofa and get belly rubs. This girl is a great size for a smaller pet, not too small or too large, she is perfect.
