Meet Aria.
This pint-sized little princess is ready to love you. She and 8 others rescued by Cause for SB Paws were part of a hoarding case in which 15 dogs were confiscated from a home by Riverside Animal Shelter. After a grooming and vetting, she looks like she’s been loved and cherished all her life. Now it’s her turn for that life she so deserves.
Aria has one thing keeping her from that life, but we know a good soul will want to make her a part of their lives anyway — she has a grade 5/6 heart murmur. Her doctors said without treatment she had less than a year to live. With treatment (heart medication given 2x/day) her life has been extended, we’re just not sure for how long.
You would never know it! She is silly, frisky, and loves to play, although she also does love to lounge and cuddle. She is still shy but has come such a long way. She now wags her tail and sits on your lap and comes to you for love rather than hiding. She is affectionate and deserves a good home finally, regardless of how much time she has left.
