RACHEL HAS AN ADOPTION PENDING. Rachel is a beautiful 3-4 year-old Boxer who was adopted from us in August 2016 but recently returned because she proved to be too much for her senior owners to handle. This girl is very affectionate with people and does very well with other dogs in her foster home. She lived with a small dog in her previous home and did fine. Rachel walks very well on a leash but her previous owners said she can be leash reactive when she sees other dogs when out for a walk which made it difficult for them to walk her. Rachel is housetrained and does fine in a crate. She would do best in a quiet home with an aboveground fenced yard. Rachel weighs about 60 pounds and her adoption fee is $250. She’s spayed, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea preventative, and microchipped. All Canine Lifeline adoptions come with a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email [email protected] if you’re interested in Rachel. We have no foster homes with young children so aren’t comfortable placing any of them in a home with children less than 7 years of age.
