Adopt a Domestic Short Hair (short coat)
Sage the Cat needs a home
All HSWC animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations before adoption (if species appropriate).
Application and counseling is required prior to all adoptions.
Individuals interested in adopting a puppy are STRONGLY encouraged to download and read this FREE ebook. Even if you've raised puppies in the past, this is an invaluable resource to help make your new addition successful!
Please note that visual breed identification of companion animals has been proven to be unreliable, so for most of our animals we provide a best guess at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our animals as an individual and do our best to describe and place pets based on personality not breed label.
Were you aware that Sage means “wise one” ?! Makes sense because I am the wisest of them all. I know how to cat. Naps, back scratches from humans, more naps and eating is how you cat. My advice to you is this- go with the flow in life. Stop and smell the cat nip, chase that laser on the floor (or just opt out for a nap) nose boop your loved ones and most importantly…savor every bite of salmon flavored kibble. All in all- I am laid back and calm as a cucumber. I really prefer the company of humans to other kitties or doggies. As you can tell from my picture I'm really not that fond of paper cats on the wall either! I'm really just a human lover at heart. Would you throw me a seafood themed birthday party in my forever home?
