Artemis the Cat needs a home
Artemis is discovering how much he enjoys pets and head scratches. He's still nervous when approached by a hand near his face, but if approached slowly he relaxes and purrs, closes his eyes and pushes into your hand. He is not comfortable with being held, nor has he ventured into a lap, but he will sit near a person he trusts for pets. He seems to genuinely enjoy being around people, and is very curious about – always watching and cautiously engaging at his own comfort level. He currently lives with another foster Ginger, and they are best buddies – playing, sleeping and pretty much doing everything together. Watching Ginger has helped Artemis realize that people can be friendly. Being adopted as a pair with Ginger would be ideal for both of them. He could possibly be a solo pet in the right cat-savvy home or live with a low key dog. He would likely be fine with respectful children. He will need some time and patience to settle into a new home and develop a bond with his new person. That patience will be rewarded with this handsome boy providing hours of love and sweetness.
