Freddy the Cat needs a home
Some pets are in the Shelter and others in Foster homes. Scroll thru description for contact info!! Or you may email [email protected] for pet info!
Freddy is a male, orange kitten about 14 weeks old as of 8/1/16. He is neutered and vaccinated. There were 5 babies found outside and caught at about 9 weeks old. They did not have much contact with humans but have come a long way. They love foster mom and can learn to love another family as well with time and patience. Freddy is work in progress but can become a special fella that fits right in to a loving, patient home. Freddy is quiet and a bit calmer than his litter mates.
He will need reassurance he is safe and no longer have to fend for food. To start he will need a place in your home where he cannot hide, where he can bond with you by playing wand toys and other fun games, cuddling and sharing wet food. He will get used to your house hold noises and slowly come out of his shell. Eventually he will forget the old fearful ways and gain confidence you instill in while bonding with him. If you are truly looking to rescue a kitten start here with one that needs to learn how good an indoor home can be. Also, typically, kittens love to play so much they make excellent playmates for other kittens and playful cats with careful introductions.
