Diva Davis Lonestar the Dog needs a home
Diva is anything but what her name implies, so she is currently called Suri in her foster home. Suri is a name that is much more fitting for someone so selfless that she would be a surrogate mom to orphaned pups.
Suri has a gentle soul and loves nothing more than to be close to her people. She gets along well with big and small dogs as well as cats. She is submissive and even steps away from her food bowl when one of the other animals wants a nibble. I have yet to hear her bark so I do not believe she is very vocal.
My hope for her is that her forever family allows her to snuggle with them on the couch and at least let her sleep on a dog bed in their bedroom if they cannot make space for her in their bed. She has not had any accidents even though she was an outside dog prior to gracing us with her presence.
Suri is sure to continue blossoming in the weeks to come after being deprived of proper nutrition and care for so long. She was abandoned at a home in Texas with a litter of pups. She was starving when she was discovered and only 3 of her pups had survived. A short time later, she took in 7 pups and raised them as her own after their mom was killed by a car.
