Maggie *SPECIAL NEEDS* the Dog needs a home
Maggie is a magnificent young girl who is looking for a special family that will help her with a couple medical issues. Maggie has epilepsy and has occasional cluster seizures. She is beginning a new medication that will hopefully control the seizures and perhaps stop them completely! The medications Maggie is on, Phenobarbital, Potassium Bromide (at the moment which is temporary) & Zonisamide, all are relatively inexpensive. Maggie's new family would also need to watch her food intake closely -- she is allergic to white potato, chicken, poultry mix, rice, oat, soybean, turkey and peanuts. In return for the proper care, Maggie will charm you with her adorable personality, playfulness, and overall good nature. Maggie adores children and was raised with young children since her early puppy days. Maggie plays well with other dogs, although sometimes when the other dog is tired she may continue to pester him to play and needs to be reminded to take a rest. She also is good around cats.
