Merry?s Story: Merry is a happy 10 year old who was surrendered to JCCARE by her former family. Health: Merry is up to date on all vaccinations and spayed. At some point in her previous life she had a broken leg which was repaired. As a result of the broken leg she one had, Merry?s leg points out when she is standing, which makes her look like a little ballerina! Like many aging Chin, Merry has a heart murmur which is currently graded as a 3. Temperament: Merry gets along with other dogs, but has not been tested around cats. Merry?s foster mom describes her as a very active girl with a ?tomboy? persona. Merry is quite the character and makes the cutest chirps, whines, and barking sounds; she puts those sounds to good use when she hears something outside. My Ideal Home: Merry will do fine as an only dog and is also a good fit for a home with additional dogs. Merry loves to be outside and roll in the grass, so ideally she will find a home with a yard so she can enjoy spending time outside. When not outside playing, Merry is content to snuggle on the couch with her people.
