Hank the Dog needs a home

Cattle dog /bull dog mix
Hank is an active boy and is blossoming with training and careful socialization. He enjoys playing ball, is housetrained and great in the car.
Hank is in a quiet adult home and a big love bug with his foster mom.
Hank found himself in a shelter when his family dropped him off citing their home was a beehive of activity. While he was great with the resident children he did not cope well with all the activity.
Hank was also listed as 'no other animals' so it was a pleasant surprise when he blended in with the foster mom’s dogs. In fact he even became best buds with a young bulldog foster spending hours wrestling, tousling and playing tug. He also likes to play tug with his little JRT friend.
This said, Hank can be very reactive towards dogs during his walks. He is not a candidate for dog parks or walks where off leash dogs are encountered frequently.
Hank has improved substantially and we are looking for a home that will carry on his training and management. If you are interested in Handsome Hank be prepared to discuss how you are going to do so, and advise the classes you might attend.
