Buddy the Dog needs a home
Buddy is our very own living teddy bear. He is fluffy, cuddly and so very laid back that he really enjoys leaning on his humans.
We don't know where Buddy has been all of his life. But, we know that in early July 2017 he was found on a country road very skinny and very hungry. He was rescued by a loving human who had him vetted and chipped. After several months of looking for his owner, she decided that she would need to find him a loving home.
TMHPR agreed to take him in and have him neutered, then begin his heartworm treatment immediately. This amazingly sweet boy holds no ill-will toward any human. He is in a wonderful foster home where he has access to a crate, but crating is not necessary for this laid back boy. He loves to walk the backyard searching for a cool spot to enjoy a sunny day with the other dogs in the home.
Buddy makes a fabulous companion for someone who works from home. He only makes a noise when he feels he has been left ignored for too long. That "noise" is some very dramatic groaning as he works to get your attention for a belly rub. He is hysterical! Emmy nominated acting for sure!
Buddy will be undergoing heartworm treatment until the end of 2017. He is eligible for foster to adopt prior to completing his treatment. This would mean you can foster this bear in your home while caring for him. After all medical treatment is completed, then the adoption paperwork could be finalized.
