~~Hi there!  I’m Tikki.  And I am looking to become someone’s forever companion.  And when I say companion, I mean companion!  I will be there for you through thick and thin.  I will stay by your side and always keep you company.  If you are home all day, either retired, work from home or in need of an emotional support dog (ESD), I am your boy.  I may not be officially trained as an ESD, but it is what I do naturally.  See, I prefer not to be left alone myself.  I find being with people makes me feel safe and happy, so that is where I really like to be.  I’d love nothing better than to snuggle and be by your side.  You can talk to me all day and I will listen intently!  I like other dogs okay and do fine with kids, but warming a good lap is one of my favorite pastimes and I’m only 12 pounds so I'm not too heavy.  I am house and leash trained.  Crates and kennels scare me, but I do just fine sleeping by your side.  I do not require a lot of exercise, but would take walks with you if you’d like.  Or I can just follow you around the house to make sure you get to where you’re going okay.  If you’re looking for a cute pup to keep you company and show you love – I just may be the dog you're looking for!

All Ruff Start dogs and cats are spayed/neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccines, microchipped, dewormed, and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm prevention (dogs) as well as heartworm tested (dogs).

Ruff Start Rescue is a foster based rescue. Animals are located in homes throughout Minnesota. We do not have a facility where animals are kept.
