Adopt a Chinese Crested-Powder Puff / Poodle (Miniature) / Mixed

A SWEET LITTLE GUY:  10 years old / 10 lbs.  Mostly Mutts adoption facility is open Mon-Sat. 11-4pm.  Some of us are in foster homes so please call 770-272-6888 1st to find out if I’m available to meet during the week.  I lost my home when my person passed away and there wasn’t anyone who could give me a home in the family, so I’m looking for a new family or person to love.  I’m initially a little shy, probably because I’m confused, but I got to go home for a few days with one of the volunteers who said that after I warmed up to them, I became a total lap dog!  I let them hold me like a baby and enjoyed being scratched and petted.  I also got excited and playful to see them when they would come home from being out.  In their home, my potty manners were good except that I did tend to mark in the home.  I’ve just been neutered, so between that and training not to mark, it should stop soon.  Ask for tips about helping me stop marking.  I was respectful of the MM shelter cat, so if you have a kitty in your home, we can meet to see if we could be friends.  I also met a few dogs at MM’s and was fine with them though not interested in interacting with them, so if you have a doggie at home, we’d likely coexist alright if they are mellow too, let’s meet.  I likely be just fine as the only dog as well, with lots of love from you.  I do cry and howl for a little while before settling into my crate, so I don’t think an apartment or condo type home would be a good fit for me.  I’m missing quite a lot of teeth and I just had them cleaned with 2 more pulled, so my remaining teeth are healthy again.  You’ll notice that my coat isn’t in the best shape.  The nice volunteers did what they could with it: a nice bath and a lot of brushing to get some of the tangles out, but I wasn’t able to get it groomed before I was neutered, so I need to heal from that before grooming.  I’m already cute, but I’ll be cute as pie once you have me groomed.  I’m a sweet boy, who’s been through a lot lately and looking forward to settling into a wonderful family!  Perhaps you?  Best no very young kids as I’m small.  Energy level:  4-6.  I'm current on vaccinations, micro-chipped, neutered and my adoption fee is $275.00.
