Adopt a Terrier / Mixed (medium coat)

HENRY HAS AN ADOPTION PENDING. Henry is an absolutely adorable 10-11 month-old Terrier mix male who was found as a stray in a rural area with a pup who looked to be his littermate and was taken to the local county dog shelter. Given the circumstances, it’s likely that they were abandoned. When no one claimed him at the shelter, he made the trip to Canine Lifeline so he would be able to take his time finding the perfect new home. Henry can be a little shy at first when meeting new people but is very comfortable around other dogs so we do want to place him in a home where there is another playful dog his size who can show him the ropes and boost his confidence. In his foster home, he loves to play and wrestle with his fellow foster pups and especially enjoys having fun in the snow we’ve had recently. He would love having a safe and secure fenced yard to run around in with his canine pal. Henry has excellent crate manners so should be able to pick up the housetraining routine quickly in his new home. Although there are no cats in his foster home, Henry has met kitties and seemed to be fine with them. He hasn’t had much experience on a leash yet but he’s eager to learn so he can start having lots of adventures in his new home. Henry weighs about 16 pounds and his adoption fee is $250. He’s neutered, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea preventative, and microchipped.
