Dexter D3990 the Dog needs a home
Dexter is a happy guy just looking for love. Those fly away ears and curly cue tail are even cuter in person! He was born June 2014 and his breed listed on vet records is a pointer mix, but when he stands next to his best friend who is a Cattle Dog mix, I see a lot of similarities. Whatever, his breed, Dexter absolutely loves people and other dogs, but he is not a fan of small children (bigger kids are ok). He loves snuggles, and although he can be independent at times, mostly he just really wants to hang out with his person!
He is a medium to high energy dog and is working on obedience training, particularly walking nicely on a leash. While his manners aren't perfect yet, he is a smart guy and a quick learner. He is house trained and crate trained. Big loud noises, especially large trucks, are pretty scary, but for the most part Dexter is a confident dog.
The ideal home for Dexter would be one where he gets lots of one-on-one attention, although he would love to have a canine sibling as well!
