Adopt a Bichon Frise / Havanese (medium coat)

Bichon Frise / Havanese (medium coat) Dog

Cooper the Dog needs a home

Hello! My name is Cooper and I am a darling gray and white, ten-year-old male, pure bred Havanese.  (Havanese is a breed of Bichon, is the national dog of Cuba, and was developed from the now extinct Blanquito de la Habana. The Blanquito descended from the also now extinct Bichon Tenerife.)  I am part of a bonded pair with my sister and litter mate, Sadie.  Our mom is in a place called "assisted living" and she cannot keep us with her.  Since BROC promised not to separate us, we must be adopted together.  I am a sweet and lovable guy who likes nothing better than to lay on the couch snuggling with my special someone. I enjoy exploring the back yard with my sister, Sadie.  I have been trained and I am a well-behaved, well-mannered guy.  I absolutely love my foster mom but I would really like to have a forever home of my own.    I have had a thorough health examination, I'm micro chipped, neutered, and will have a dental cleaning prior to adoption.   If you have room in your heart and home for me and my sister Sadie, please complete an adoption application.

If you would like to meet me please visit our website at www.bichonrescueoc.org and submit an application to start the adoption process!  All our pups are available as long as their listing is up. The adoption process moves very quickly and most families are approved within 48 hours.

The adoption procedure involves these steps:

     1. Complete an online application.

     2. Interview with one of our volunteers

     3. Home Safety Evaluation

     4. Meet and greet with the pet.

     5. Adopt!

Here is the direct link to our application.
