Hercules the Cat needs a home
Hercules originally came to Purrfect Pals with his seven littermates after being rescued in Ellensburg when their mother was hit by a car. Happily, Hercules was adopted shortly after, but was recently returned after eight years due to inappropriate urination and spraying in the home. This behavior started to worsen after a new baby arrived, and Hercules just couldn't get used to such a dramatic change in his home. His spraying was his way of telling them how unhappy he was, and they did all they could to try to help him adjust. Sadly, Hercules just couldn't relax with the new baby around, and he was brought back to Purrfect Pals to find a new home. Though shy around strangers, Hercules is a sweet and loving senior kitty. He would dearly love a quiet home of his own, without children or other pets, where he can feel safe and secure. Since arriving back at the shelter we have not seen him spray at all. He uses his litterbox pretty faithfully (but does prefer it is cleaned regularly). He would do best with an experienced, cat-savvy person, who will love him and be patient while he learns to use the cat box again. Like all Purrfect Pals cats, Hercules has been viral tested, microchipped, altered, and vaccinated.
