Hakeem the Cat needs a home
Hakeem came to Arizona Small Dog Rescue from a home where 60+ cats were rescued. Hakeem has lived a different life than most cats, and is new to human affection as most of his time was spent with other cats. Understandably, Hakeem is a bit shy at first and needs a little time to learn to trust. Hakeem is playful and likes to play with toys, as well as other cat friends! Hakeem has become especially close to his friend Katana from his previous home and would love if they could adventure into their new home together. Hakeem is good with most people if approached slowly at first, then warms up very quickly. Once Hakeem bonds with a person, he is very affectionate and asks for pets and give head bumps. Hakeem is very gentle with his affection. Hakeem is neutered, up to date on shots & microchipped. Hakeem's adoption fee is $80. *Ask adoption counselor about the adoption fee for Hakeem and Katana together.* His adoption includes a free vet visit as well as 30 days of pet insurance. To meet Hakeem (and his friend Katana) come to our shelter location 1102 W Hatcher Rd open Tuesday to Sunday 11-6.
