Hansel the Dog needs a home
UPDATE:
Hansel has come around leaps and bounds in his foster home. Although still skittish and fearful he has begun to seek out attention from the humans. He bounces on the bed in the morning with his whole body wagging looking for a few minutes of attention and then runs outside to be with his doggie friends. We are letting him progress at his own pace and he's doing very well. He'll soon be ready to make some appearances at our meet and greets. :)
Hansel came to us via an owner surrender/seizure case from Wayne County. This poor boy has had little to no human interaction in his short life.
As fearful as he is there is no aggression in his little body.
Hansel is a great size at only 15 lbs. He looks for comfort and confidence in his furry foster siblings. He is not seeking out human interaction at this time but we do couch time every day for a few minutes to let him see that petting, hugging, and relaxing on the couch is a really comfy thing to do :)
I'm sure with time and patience Hansel will begin to love life with a human family!
