Adopt a Labrador Retriever / Mixed (medium coat)

Hi, my name's Aruna, I'm looking for a nice, quiet, laid back home that has a loving person or family where someone can be home with me most of the time or one with another dog friend. I'm a very people friendly gal, and sure do love making new human friends everywhere I go. Though it isn't very hard when you have such a cute face and amazing personality like I do. I'm a very beautiful gal, that has a very gentle soul, and I'm a master at using my puppy dog eyes to make you fall in love with me. In fact, when you come out to visit me don't be surprised if I steal your heart, and make you want to instantly adopt me! Once I've warmed up to someone (which doesn't take long), I'm always within a few feet of them, and as soon as you set down I'll jump and put my front feet in your lap in order to get love, and in return will give you big fat slobbery kisses. I was returned to CHHS twice due to some anxiety problems, though I'm am currently in foster care, and my wonderful foster family is working with me on it. I was being worked with on crate training, however, being in a confined space amped up my anxiety. So as a result, I am now being worked with on having free roam in the house with my dog friend Laila, and so far I am doing really well with it. I know a few commands such as sit and shake/give paw, and am being worked with on a few others as well. At my last adopters house I chewed on a few things when left alone, but since I have been at my foster family's home, I haven't done anything like that while I was left out with another dog. I am completely housetrained, though when I go outside, I need to be supervised the whole time, because I can easily jump a five and half foot fence, and can find a way to wiggle out of my collar if tethered up. When I've interacted with and met other canines here at CHHS, I seem to do much better with other calmer dogs.
