Laney the Dog needs a home
We do not have a facility to house the dogs in our program. They are all kept in foster homes until they are adopted. Laney is a 5 year old, 60lbs golden retriever - Shar Pei mix. She was adopted from a rural shelter by a family and over time one of the family members has developed extreme allergies to her. They are needing to rehome her due to the best interest of their family's health.
Laney is wonderful with children and animals of all shapes and sizes. She is crate trained and house broken. She knows basic commands and will make someone a wonderful addition to their family. She is spayed, current on vaccinations, microchipped and current on heartworm prev. She did test positive for heartworms and will undergo treatment in her new home. The treatment is a two shot series where she has both shots 24 hours apart and then will just be a normal lazy house pet for the next 30 days - no running or stairs. Once the 30 days is over, she can resume all regularly scheduled activities and go on to lead a long happy life.
