Kern County Animal Control is pleased to have the opportunity to work with your Rescue association. We will endeavor to contact your association when we have animals that are deemed not adoptable to a home from our shelter. Our animals are also posted on Pet Harbor; therefore, you can call to inquire about animals in which you may be interested. We are comforted that with the time, care and love that your organization can provide to these animals, they will become adoptable and find permanent, loving homes.

In order for Kern County Animal Control to have a formal, long term relationship with your Rescue association, we ask that you please download and complete the “Adoption Partnership Application” and the “Rescue Agreement”.
