Family Dog Rescue was founded in January 2010 by a group of people who have many years of experience with a wide variety of rescue and shelter organizations. An important part of our mission is to help families with children adopt dogs, instead of using breeders, as these families often have a difficult time adopting from municipal shelters because of restrictions required by the shelters. We rescue almost all types of dogs including bully breeds and we make it a point to provide appropriate veterinary care as well as proper socialization. We often take dogs who have medical issues, or are deaft or otherwise "less than perfect".
