Northwoods Humane Society serves animals in need. We heal them, love them, and help them to find a home. Many animals are depending on all of us. A united effort will help those who cannot speak for themselves. Stray and unwanted dogs and cats are sheltered at Northwoods Humane Society. These neutered pets are available for adoption.
Our mission is to prevent neglect, abuse, cruelty, and overpopulation of domestic animals, to provide a network service to the lost or homeless companion animals, and to ensure that their well-being is effectively managed by an educated and caring society. We are a non-profit organization serving Forest Lake, Minnesota and surrounding communities since 1970. Last year we adopted over 1,000 animals and helped many others.
