Paws of Coronado is a non-profit organization founded in 2003 to accomplish the following goals:

*Raise funds for animal welfare
*Facilitate public awareness and education about animal welfare
*Encourage spay and neuter programs
*Build and maintain a no kill animal care facility (with the exceptions of terminally ill or vicious animals) in Coronado
*Encourage and assist with adoptions of homeless pets
