Whiskers n' Wags Rescue Team, a 'no-kill' organization located in the greater Fredericksburg, Virginia area, will provide management, through accepted methods of trap, spay/neuter, release of local feral cat and dog colonies. No colony will be entered into unless Whiskers n' Wags has the resources to provide lifetime care for the colony. Our mission also includes rescue of any homeless, neglected, abused or special needs animal, utilizing all resources available to guarantee safe, lifetime placement. We will offer assistance to our elderly and disabled population in the adoption and care of their companion animals, as well as promoting humane education with an emphasis on acceptable spay/neutering as the primary means of population control.
