This itsy-bitsy dude will steal your heart! He's about as small as they come, and he loves to curl up in your lap to stay warm and cuddle. He does a wiggly dance when you come home and he has a charming personality. With food in hand, you can quickly become his best friend!
August is doing well learning how to walk on a leash, and he is generally great with meeting other dogs, too. August currently lives with several other dogs and a cat in his foster home, and he does just fine with all of them. He has a moderate energy level, and he enjoys playing outside with one of his foster doggie buddies. Due to his teeny-weeny size, August is a bit timid when meeting new people right now, and this should change as he get's more used to it.
August has free access to all of the house, the outside, and he is learning proper potty habits. If you have to go out without him, he will rest quietly until you come home, and he may do best in an xpen with water and a potty pad for now. When August gets to go out with you, he will do fine riding in the car as well.
August loves to sleep near you or under the covers. He is such a lovable little guy, and when he gains your trust, and when he knows you're his mommy or daddy, he is very happy! Won't you make this tiny fella forever happy?
