Adopt a Chihuahua

A PRECIOUS LITTLE GUY:  8 years old / 6 lbs.  Mostly Mutts adoption facility is open Mon-Sat. 11-4pm.  Some of us are in foster homes so please call 770-272-6888 1st to find out if I’m available to meet during the week.   I’m as cute as they come and I’ve heard people say that I have all the volunteers wrapped around my little toe.  He he!  I’m looking for a home where there will always be someone home to love me or I can go everywhere with you!  I’ve met so many people since coming to MM’s and I’m yet to meet one I didn’t want to spend time with!  In fact, when I’m alone I get very stressed and worked up which isn’t good for me.  I’m recovering from a salivary gland infection now and on medication for a grade 3 heart murmur; just ask for more details about those please.  I want nothing more than to be carried around by my person or snuggled up close to them in a nice warm blanket or very cushy doggie bed!  I even got to spend time with a very gentle 8-year-old boy and we had a nice time together, he let me ride in his lap in the car too.  Since I’m so tiny though, I should only live with older gentle kids that won’t stumble or step on me.  I need a little work with my potty manners, but did like using a pee pad in a temp. foster home that I visited, so that may be helpful.  Please don’t crate me as that really stresses me and when I’m stressed, my salivary glands release, yuck.  I did well with 3 other Chihuahua’s that I met, but really didn’t like a larger dog and in fact went after her a couple of times.  Not too smart, I know, but I had to tell her I did not want to play!  I’m super sweet and lovey, and I’ll give you some kisses too.  Nice kitties should be fine with me as I’ve napped in a doggie bed with 2 at the MM shelter.  I’m such a delightful little guy and looking forward to my new family where someone will be home all the time, or they can take me with them.  Energy level:  3-4.  I'm current on vaccinations, micro-chipped, neutered and my adoption fee is $275.00.
