Kaine the Dog needs a home
Meet Kaine!
Kaine is 6yrs old, He is a love bug that thrives on attention. He is sneaky and will wait for you to be asleep before he is naughty and climbs into the couch or bed with you (with out making any noise). Although he maybe a big boy he is low energy and is more than happy to just hang out. His favorite game is tug a war. He does well with other dogs as long as they are properly introduced on neutral ground. He has had formal training at Sirius K-9, walks well on a leash and knows basic commands. Kaine was neutered when he was only 6mths old and he never learned to mark his territory (he squats to pee). He can get a little whiney when he is left alone but is not destructive, he just truly enjoys being around his people. He does well on dry food, we have kept him on Taste of the wild salmon formula, he gets itchy paws with other foods. We've had pet chickens and he never had any problem with them around even when they pecked at him. Must remember that he is a LARGE dog and can be pretty powerful, so it is important to keep this in mind when he is around children and other people who may not enjoy a large dog leaning on them or possibly jumping on them due to excitement. I would
not
recommend him going to a home where children or babies maybe around due to he him displaying he's annoyance towards them (he does not like to be pestered). Aside from that he is an excellent companion and guard dog who will completely and immediately forget he's on duty after you great him kindly
