Adopt a Boxer (short coat)
Marnie the Dog needs a home
Marnie was adopted from our organization in 2013 and was doing well in her new home. Life changed dramatically for her new family and it was decided that she needed to come back into our care in June of 2017. She was having trouble with anxiety due to the loss of her home again and also had some medical issues that needed to be addressed. She is currently a very well adjusted dog, has completed all of her medical treatments and is living the life of luxury in her foster home with another male boxer and several kids. She loves people and would love to have a home of her very own. Below is the information provided by her foster home:
“Marnie is such a sweet dog! She has been to some obedience classes and is very smart. She knows sit, down, and High five. We are working on stay. She loves to talk and be vocal. Loves going on walks, playing with her squeaky toys, and curling up under blankets. She is still learning some leash manners on her walks, but corrects easily. She does get spooked at some loud noises, and is not fond of going outside at night to do her business, but with a little treat she will happily go! She is potty trained. She does have some separation anxiety but is already cleared at DogSpot for doggy daycare and boarding.”
