Bridgette the Dog needs a home
Bridgette is an approximately two year old brindled female chihuahua.
We learned about her plight in the summer, when it was 105 degrees outside.
She was very pregnant, and on the very hot streets of South Los Angeles, so
we quickly sent our rescue coordinator, Vikki to get her. We took her
straight to our vet office and after an X-ray learned she would give birth
within days. She gave birth to four puppies, 3 boys and a girl, two days
later in the nice cool home office of a foster. Bridgette is a sweet, loving
and calm dog. She has been THE PERFECT MOTHER, and took excellent care of
her four babies, who are now 13 weeks. She still loves them and plays with
them all the time. We will spay Bridgette within the next few weeks, she is
microchipped and vaccinated. We would love to place her with one of her four
babies, Obie, Winston, Edie and Poe. If not, we want her in a home where
there is another sweet dog, and with owners who can give her time, attention
and lots of love. This most deserving dog deserves a fantastic forever home!
