Lola the Dog needs a home
Hey everyone! My name is Lola and I’m just a basset looking for my forever home! I am a nine-year-old gal that loves car rides, cuddling and going for walks. I love all kinds of people and I like to play with other dogs.
My family recently added a new mini-human, and while I like humans of all sizes (I’m great with kids!), they have been very busy and the grown-ups feel as though it would be better if I could be in a home where I could get some more attention than they feel they have to give me.
I recently had surgery to remove bladder stones and am recovering really well, I just need a family that can keep my on my special diet so I don’t get those again. I would be really happy with a family that has someone who is home more often than not. I get really sad and anxious when all my people go away and sometimes I will try to dig under fences to go and find them – I love to play in the yard, but it would be best if it is nice and secure. I think another reason it would help to have someone around is that I am this close to perfecting my house-training – I just need a little more help to reinforce it!
I like being around other dogs because I hate to be alone, but I can get a little cranky if another dog tries to take my treat or toy. I am fine with other dogs during normal mealtime though.
