Tabby / Domestic Short Hair / Mixed (short coat) Cat

Vinnie the Cat needs a home

Vinnie is lucky to be alive.  He was found in the street and had obviously been hit by a car.  The person who found him took him to the Pet Emergency Clinic in Ventura and he was then transferred to the Camarillo Shelter.  He had a broken jaw and an eye that was damaged beyond repair.  His jaw was wired to hold it together, he needed infected, broken teeth extracted and his eye was removed.  Despite his great pain, he still loves to get pets and attention.  He was adopted out but was returned because the other cat did not like having a cat in the house.  But they unfortunately only gave it one day.  Vinnie has been understandably overwhelmed by everything that has happened to him.  He just needs a chance for love!  Vinnie will be ready to go home after April 19th as he still needs wires removed from his jaw.  If you are interested in adopting Vinnie, please e-mail [email protected] to request an application or call (818)707-6186. Our adoption fee is $125.00 per cat which covers the cost of spaying or neutering, testing for feline aids and leukemia, first vaccination, de-worming, Advantage flea treatment, and the care of the animal prior to adoption.  CATS ARE AVAILABLE TO BE SEEN EVERY SATURDAY FROM 10:00 UNTIL 5:00 AT THE WESTLAKE VILLAGE PETSMART OR DURING THE WEEK BY APPOINTMENT ONLY!
