Reggie sometimes has trouble holding his bladder for longer perods of time so I got him a few belly bands that he wears just in case. Typically he has accidents when I'm away so it appears to be associated with a bit of separation anxiety. He never acts "anxious", but I think he gets lonely.
He is up to date on all his vaccinations, neutered, microchipped, vet-checked, tested HW negative and even got a dental a few months back. The vet ran extra bloodwork to check for possible causes of him having accidents and everything came up clean so they suggested that is was more mental instead of physical.
He was originally picked up as a stray by animal control and had a microchip, but it led to a dead end and the area he was picked up at is known for having a lot of strays and dumped dogs. He was found wandering with another Chihuahua who was adopted separately a few months back so now he's just waiting for that perfect home to come along.
According to his foster mom, he has been an very easy dog to foster. He gets along with both her other dogs and her cat, has very good house manners and does well on his walks!
Please think of applying for Reginald!
