Boots the Dog needs a home

Lap dog alert! Boots is a 5 year old, 6 pound white chihuahua boy who came to us in January 2017.  Always wants to be around his people and whines when he wants them to pick him up- his favorite thing! Good with kids. He sometimes gets shy when meeting people, but that passes once they start petting him. He is never aggressive, even when scared. Loves being cuddled. Leash trained and likes walks, and does well when walked with other dogs. Doesn't mind being dressed up, and does well when given a bath. Playful. He's been around all sizes of dogs here- he doesn't like big dogs but does fine with small dogs, unless he gets jealous. Intelligent and curious!



Might not be housetrained, and is a territory marker. Be aware that, because of his tiny size, he can squeeze under gates. He can also climb a chain link fence, though he does it not to escape but to get to you. Probably good with cats.



~He'd be perfect as an emotional support dog, because he's happiest when he's being held.

 fully vaccinated before adoption; they have been wormed, bathed, socialized, walked daily and much loved; each adoptee leaves with a leash, collar, and all medical records.  




The beauty of coming to our Apple Valley sanctuary is that you can see all 90+ dogs!  

No more weekend mobiles—only special events. Maybe if there are enuff appointments, we could see you in 

El Monte or Orange County or nearby. Email your application and ask for more details!
