Adopt a Miniature Pinscher
Minnie Pinnie and her 7 puppies- 2 pups left the Dog needs a home
Minnie Pinnie is a 2 year old black and tan miniature pinscher girl, about 14 lbs. Minnie is one of our nicest dogs- she is a very friendly and active girl, and has been getting along with all of the dogs here. She has been a loving mom to her puppies. She is obedient, happy, and outgoing, and loves being around people and dogs. House trained (including paper trained).
ADOPTED 11/18/17 and will be moving to Palm Springs!
On June 12, right after she was rescued from a shelter, she gave birth to 7 puppies- 4 boys and 3 girls. They are a very active and loving group of pups! They all play with toys and other dogs, and love to be cuddled. They learn quickly- they learned right away to use the pee pads that we put down for them. Some of them are still teething and will want plenty of toys to chew on.
Minnie's pups in the pics, in order:
1. brown girl Kit Kat, 9 lbs. Very sweet little lady. Playful and energetic. ADOPTED 11/18/17 with Hershey Bar.
2. caramel-colored boy Caramel, 10 lbs. Second largest. He loves to cuddle, and is also active. He prefers small dogs. AVAILABLE. IN A FOSTER. Please call or email ahead so we can set up a meeting.
3. brindle and white girl Twix, 7 lbs (third smallest). One of the calmer pups. ADOPTED 11/18/17 with Oreo.
4. short legged chocolate and tan boy Snickers, 8 lbs. He looks like a dachshund mix, with short legs. He's one of the smartest pups. He already knows sit. He loves to carry toys around, such as frisbees. He's an explorer- he runs all over our big front yard. He's fine with all sizes of dogs. AVAILABLE.
5. tricolor boy Milky Way (the smallest of the litter), 6 lbs. One of the calmest dogs, but also one of the "chewiest"! He will need toys to distract him from anything else he might find on the floor. When not playing, he likes to snooze in your lap. He gets a little nervous around big dogs, but is great with all other dogs. ADOPTED 12/29/17!
6. black boy Hershey Bar, 11 lbs (largest of the litter). He is the most active. He can be a real rascal! He plays even with big dogs. ADOPTED 11/18/17 with Kit Kat
7. black and white girl Cupcake, 6 lbs. Second smallest of the litter. Nice girl. ADOPTED 11/3/17! She was the first to go!
***UPDATE 12/29/17- ONLY TWO LEFT-
Our boy Snickers and Caramel are still available. They are now 6 months old. They've been at the rescue since they were newborns and so they think of our rescue as home. They will need a home that lets them adjust to their new surroundings at their own pace. We ask that all our adopters give our dogs at least two weeks to adjust to their new home. Having their own space like a crate will help them, as well as having at least one other dog.
